Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

What exactly does "fortissimo" mean? Well, one glance at the Fortissimo Daffodil, and it's easy to see that this daffodil embodies the loud, bright, and intense nature of "fortissimo." These vibrant Large Cup Daffodils are bright, bold, and the highlight of spring. If you're looking for a highlight or high contrast element for the spring garden, look no further.

The Fortissimo Daffodil offers some of the largest and most brilliant yellow and oranges hues in the spring garden. With golden-yellow petals and a carrot-orange trumpet, this daffodil practically glows in the mid-spring sunshine. Its gray-green bands of foliage play a supporting role in amplifying the intensity of the orange and yellow.

And while the coloration of this daffodil is remarkable, its flirty, frilly form also makes this daffodil charismatic. These blooms are long-lived, so you will have plenty of time to enjoy them.

This cheerful and energetic daffodil is an excellent choice for brightening up your lawn with grouped drifts or as a highlight in the rock garden. The Fortissimo Daffodil also holds up as a container plant. Of course, you could also bring these rays of sunshine inside as phenomenal cut flowers that look great as a single variety bouquet or as a pop of yellow in an arrangement.

Fortissimo Daffodils are low-maintenance and naturalize when given space and the right conditions. Fortissimos prefer full sun and partial shade. They're not too picky about soil, but they shouldn't sit in standing water.

Did you hear that? It's the Fortissimo Daffodil calling your name. This electric daffodil is ready to make a loud splash in your spring garden.

We will ship based on the correct planting time for your area.
