Tall spires of bold red blooms! The Flare™ Panicle Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Kolmavesu') is a gorgeous cone-shaped bloomer that transitions from white to pink to red throughout the growing season.

The gorgeous dark-green leaves become tinged with reddish margins and the sturdy stems do too! Standing stiff and growing upright, the compact uniform growth becomes completely smothered with terminal clusters of blooms that transition in hue as the season progresses. Often having more than one color displaying on the blooms at any time, then eventually turning a botanical tan color.

Flare™ is compact enough to fit into smaller urban lots, never overcrowded and mingle with other plants and hydrangeas with ease! No yard? Even container gardeners can enjoy this fiery little number! Hydrangea are showy plants that are sure to catch the attention of anyone passing by, including any butterflies and pollinators in the area as well!

Planting and Application:

The size of Flare™ Panicle Hydrangea is container-ready! Plant up as a focal point plant in a sunny porch or patio as a specimen planting, or tuck into larger planters as a thriller among other smaller spillers and groundcover plants. Balcony and rooftop gardens and other small spaces like postage stamp lots, call all to enjoy these vibrant blossoms!

Create low hedges and property definition without taking up too much space, but gaining immense drifts of color! Pollinator and cottage gardens, mixed shrub plantings and cutting gardens as well as easy-care mass plantings. You'll be creating new garden beds just to find more locations around your landscape to use Flame™!

  • Sturdy Reddish Stems
  • Small & Compact
  • Very Easy Care

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Hydrangea bushes flower best in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade, especially when planted in warmer climates where they appreciate some afternoon shade. Hydrangea also requires consistently moist soil and a thick layer of surface mulch to hold more moisture in and keep their roots cool in the summer and insulated in winter.

  • Full Sun & Partial Shade
  • Enriched, Well-Drained Moist Soil
  • 3-4 Inch Layer of Mulch
  • Prune in Early Spring
  • Cold Hardy & Low Maintenance

Great red spires, the Flare™ Panicle Hydrangea is sure to light up your landscape! But only if you buy this hot little number soon because we're sure it won't last long at NatureHills.com!
