Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

A unique little gem! If you’re looking for that unique little sunny shrub to add to your garden - Take a look at the Glory™ St. John's Wort (Hypericum x inodorum 'Kolmaglor'). This little beauty is so much more than its name! St. John's Wort will give you two long seasons of interest. Once when it flowers those beautiful buttercup yellow flowers and again when it fruits the stunning caramel-orange berries in the fall.
'Wort' comes from the old English word for plant or herb and this little plant deserves to be better known! Glory™ is cold hardy, and heat-resistant, deer seldom bother them, plus is xeric and super easy to grow! You can almost plant it and forget about it! But that brilliant golden-yellow color makes it impossible to ignore! Butterflies, hummingbirds, and beneficial pollinators will flock to this plant and are sure to not forget about it either!
You will enjoy the appearance of this plant all season long and those seedpods bring fall color and persist for winter interest. In warmer climates, this plant can be semi-evergreen. In cooler areas where the leaves are deciduous, you will enjoy the yellow fall color. Glory™ will grow to a height of 2 - 3 feet in height and width.
Planting and Application:
Plant Glory™ as accents for sunny gardens, along paths and walkways, adding glorious color to mixed shrub borders and foundation plantings! Anywhere you need some brilliant golden flowers to brighten the sun or partial shade garden! St. John's Wort is ready for the challenge!
St. John's Wort is loved by florists and is a must-have for cutting gardens, and the seedpods are so cool to use in fashionable floral bouquets. Florists love to use this for fall bouquets. So many floral arrangements contain the stems of these clustered fruits.
The polite spreading and suckering nature of these plants make them perfect for erosion control, on steep slopes, and en masse - transforming them into golden hillsides full of bees and butterflies! Need to fill an area with sunshine? Plant a few St. John's Wort and sit back and relax! Don't worry about those out-of-the-way areas attracting deer, those uninvited guests will usually leave this plant alone!
St. John's Wort is also a beneficial herb and has long been used to relieve everything from anxiety to inflammation. While we don't recommend using landscaping Hypercum medicinally, just the sunny blooms and the sheer amount of butterflies that arrive are sure to lift your spirits!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Glory™ Hypericum prefers to be planted in full sun and a touch of part shade/afternoon shade. Plant in well-drained soil for the best growth possible because St. John's Wort cannot tolerate wet feet! St. John's Wort thrives in the southeast without any care at all. While semi-evergreen in warmer USDA growing zones 5 to 9, in cooler parts of the country, it may be a deciduous shrub during winter or even die back to the ground in harsh winters. But it will come back strong and true each spring.
A generous layer of mulch retains moisture and insulates the root system from heat and winter's chill. St. John's Wort blooms on new wood, so prune while dormant to control the size and shape however, these really do their best in locations where they're allowed to be themselves.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade

- Needs Well-Drained Soil & Moderate Moisture Needs
