To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Smokey and smoldering blooms, the Firepot Dahlia (Dahlia 'Firepot') is a gorgeous ember of a bloom with fully double blooms that glow from within! The yellow centers transform to smokey apricot-orange cupped petals. Sometimes pinkish-hued, these blooms stand atop graceful reddish stems and toothy green foliage.
These upright plants grow fast from tubers and bloom all summer into fall! Pollinators and Hummingbirds will flock to them, just be sure to plant a few extra so you won't feel you are depriving them of their dinner when you snip a few for your bouquets indoors!
Dahlia are hardy perennial tubers throughout USDA hardiness zones 9 to 11 and wonderful houseplants, annual accents, or seasonal flowering plants throughout all growing zones. Force indoors in a greenhouse, sunroom, or sunny window for winter color.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Dahlia blooms all summer without fading in full to partial sun locations and prefers planted in a wide range of soil types, clay, and acidic conditions, as long as they're well-drained! Soak the tubers for a few hours before planting and plant them with their fingers spread out gently and pointing downwards. To ensure even moisture, place mulch around the base of the plant. Adding 3-4 inches of mulch helps considerably. Dahlia tubers can be dug after frost, then place in paper bags or boxes of sand in a cool place and sprinkle a little water on the tubers periodically to keep them from drying out.
