To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

The dainty blooms are light and airy and attract pollinators and hummingbirds! The easy-to-grow color is sharpest in the spring and the fall and only mellows a little bit in the summer. The red leaves are striking with deep green companions but for a real eye-popper try it with lime green Heucheras or lemon yellow Cypress or even all three together!
In mild climates, Fire Alarm is evergreen to semi-evergreen and will give you great color year-round! Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 5 to 9, Heuchera are fantastically easy to grow and hardy! Growing only 9-12 inches in height and 15 inches in width, these are space-saving brilliant little gems!
Planting and Application:
Coral Bells are native to the southern U.S. and thrive under deciduous trees, but perform well in both sunny beds and shady borders. In summer, Fire Alarm crowns itself with spikes of pink, bell-shaped flowers that are great to cut for ephemeral summer bouquets. The bright, no-fade color makes a spectacular addition to your beds, borders, rock, and woodland gardens. Use as ground cover, edging as facer plants.
Perfect in the shade garden, imagine a full bed of Fire Alarm Coral Bells in a molten river of color under your favorite tree or winding beside your patio or porch! Plant Coral Bells in either full shade or partial shade, but you'll have better color and more flowers in more sun. Plant in enriched, well-drained soil that remains moderately, consistently moist. But once established, Coral Bells can be drought tolerant, but appreciate a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch to hold in moisture and keep the roots cool. Prune back foliage in early spring before new growth begins.
