Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

Brighten spring big-time with the Fairness Double Daffodil (Narcissus 'Fairness') and its double dose of incredible ruffled blooms! Cures your winter blues with gorgeous clumps of bright green sword-like leaves that are among the first to emerge after a long winter!

Just after Hyacinths decide it's safe to grow, Daffodils take their turn in the spotlight, and Fairness sends up multiple stems full of clusters of chartreuse yellow double blooms with a hint of orange hidden in the centers! Sweetly scented, you'll enjoy bumblebees and other pollinators trying to wriggle into these ruffles while looking for nectar!

Also known as Narcissus or Jonquils, these perennial spring-flowering bulbs are tough, cold-hardy, and lovely in the home or garden! Use in planters and containers, or forced indoors for winter décor, floral bouquets and showy early spring color, or all of the above!

Planting and Application:

Add vibrance to beds and borders while waiting for other plants to wake up. Plant groupings throughout perennial and cottage gardens, pollinator beds and cutting borders at equal intervals for eye-catching pops of color! Or use long rows as edging and border plants!

Incredibly low-maintenance, gardeners new and experienced enjoy their plant-and-forget style! Their smaller size makes them ideal for early spring planters on your porch or patio, or forced indoors for delightful winter gifts and decoration while you wait for spring! Imagine the bouquet you'll enjoy when it includes these brilliant and unique blooms!

  • Vivid Chartreuse Yellow Ruffles With Orange Centers
  • Multiple Ruffled Double Flowers Per Bulb
  • Low Maintenance Green Foliage Clumps
  • Fall-Planted, Early Spring-Flowering Perennial
  • Early Spring Color, Beds & Borders, Containers & Cut Flowers

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Daffodil bulbs are easy to care for! Plant 6-8-inches deep at least 3-inches apart with the pointed end facing upward. They must have well-drained soil and lots of sunshine all growing season. In colder growing zones, plant a little deeper so they can survive the winter. Add bulb fertilizer to each hole for best results.

  • Full Sun or Partial Shade
  • Moderately Moist Well-Drained Soil
  • Deadhead After Bloom, Prune to Ground When Leaves Yellow
  • Very Cold Hardy
  • Deer & Rodent Resistant
