Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Quintessential Succulent with a Touch of Elegance

This award-winning succulent is a true beauty! The Echeveria Elegans is the rose of the succulent world. It won the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society and can be described at the "quintessential succulent" for its classic, yet beautiful succulent appearance.

This succulent forms a succession of gorgeous rosettes that vary in size. Its weighty, spoon-shaped leaves are a soft silvery-green that can appear teal in certain lighting. The outer leaves blush in the sun and can change to yellow and pink hues in the heat of summer.

This sophisticated beauty even produces flowers. In summer, you can expect this beauty to produce stems that shoot up to support dainty tubular flowers. And these flowers do not disappoint. They're a deep red at their base which transitions to a rich, honey-colored yellow at their opening.

This plant's flamboyant flowers are known for attracting hummingbirds while being deer and rabbit resistant.

This succulent grows best in full sun and partial shade in well-drained, low-moisture soil. The echeveria is versatile and hardy, so you can use it as a potted plant inside your home or positioned on your front steps.

It can add interest to your succulent garden or specimen garden. If left to spread, it can form colonies of rosettes that can make for a unique groundcover.

The rosette shape of this plant makes it a great companion for other succulents because it doesn't tend to crowd other plants.

Many gardeners go crazy for this little beauty. Its drought-resistant nature makes it easy to care for. And it thrives in dry conditions that most plants find inhospitable. And like most other succulents, this one isn't prone to any plant disease.

This alluring succulent will bring charm and elegance to your garden. And it grows well without a lot of maintenance. Order today!
