To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

The Eastern Whitebud is an ornamental tree with stunning spring color. Plant several along the street or driveway for a colorful spring display, or just one as a specimen tree in the front yard.
The best feature of this tree is perhaps the extravagant show of blossoms it produces in the spring.
The sweet-pea like, white flowers bloom profusely, covering the bare branches at first, and then sharing the space with the adorable heart-shaped leaves that emerge as a perfect romantic blending of hearts and flowers.
Even when the flowers fade, the 5-inch, heart-shaped leaves remain a lovely summer-long addition to an already decorative tree.
When the summer draws to a close, your Eastern Whitebud changes into its yellow foliage until the leaves drop for winter. With its leaves gone, the 3-inch seedpods are revealed on the reddish stems for some winter color in the barren landscape.
Your Eastern Whitebud will grow up to 18-25 foot tall and can spread 15-18 foot in an upright vase shape eventually maturing with a flat topped canopy. Many like to grow this plant as a low branched or even shrub form plant where the month-long flower display can be up front and personal.
