Blending the soft peachy-pink Angelique Tulip, the luscious double plummy-purple Blue Spectacle Tulip, and the dreamy white double Mount Tacoma Tulip, combine fragrance and Peony-like blooms with heirloom adaptability!

Backed by a vase-shaped upright clump of blue-green foliage that frames the double blooms. Growing 16-24 inches tall and flowering throughout the late spring season. Cold-hardy and fast-growing, these fall-planted spring-flowering ephemerals are easy to grow!

Planting and Application:

The Double Peony Tulip blend adds its voluminous beauty to your beds and borders each spring. Plant groupings and long winding borders, in a ring around your mailbox, or en masse giving you plenty to feed your butterflies with early-spring nectar, and you with armloads of cut flowers for romantic bouquets!

Your Cottage garden, mixed perennial borders, and spring Rock gardens all become showy visions of grandeur! Plant around your mailbox or a garden bench to highlight your garden's features! Try forcing your bulbs indoors in a pretty shallow tray, or mixed with other perennial fall-planted bulbs in the late winter and enjoy a pretty table centerpiece to welcome spring in the winter!

Keep it small and space-saving with container gardens and mixed planters on your porch for a seasonal spring planter on either side of your front door or around your back seating areas where you can enjoy their heavy scent close by.

  • Double Satiny White, Purple & Peachy Heirloom Tulips
  • Upright Clumps of Strappy Blue-Green Foliage
  • Sweetly Scented Silky Petals
  • Butterflies, Container Gardens & Cut Flower Bouquets
  • Great For Borders, Rows, Groupings & En Masse Plantings

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Double Peony Tulips do their very best in a well-drained location in full to partial sun. Tulips do not like continuously wet soil so water newly planted bulbs very well and you shouldn't have to water again unless it gets very dry that fall, or during summers when you have extensive heat and drought. Top-dress with a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch to hold in soil moisture more consistently and to insulate the perennial bulbs.

Deadhead the flower heads once they fade but let the foliage remain to make food for the bulbs. Trim away the leaves and remove them from the area once they turn yellow. Apply an early spring application of bulb food.

Tips on Planting Tulip Bulbs

Plant your Tulip Bulbs in the fall about 6 to 8 weeks before a hard freeze (or anytime in the autumn when the ground is still workable.). Place the bulbs in a hole with the pointy end upward and at least 8 inches deep (about 3x the length of the bulb), spaced about 4-6 inches apart.

  • Full Sun/Part Shade Outdoors & Indirect Sun Indoors
  • Needs Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate to Low Moisture Once Established
  • Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Prune After Foliage Yellows
  • Fall-Planted Perennial Spring Flowering Bulbs

Pretty color and double the silky petals, the Double Peony Tulip Blend will add its scented beauty to your garden this spring! Order yours today and NatureHills.com will hold your perennial bulbs until the proper planting time for your growing zone!
