To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Bare Root Plants
Bare root plants are sold by height from the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may exceed minimum height requirements.

- Shrubs & Perennials: 1 foot, 18 inches, 2 feet

Deep maroon, pink and white swirls! The Dianthus Raspberry Swirl (Dianthus 'Raspberry Swirl') blooms from late spring until summer atop a dense mat of grayish-green evergreen foliage for a long-lasting and tough flowering plant!
Raspberry Swirl Dianthus attracts swarms of early emerging bees and butterflies, and perhaps an occasional hummingbird too, as they seek out the nectar from these spicy fragrant blossoms! For the rest of the year, you’ll enjoy the evergreen foliage that forms compact mounds
Raspberry Swirl is great for floral design and bouquets, the long stems and strongly fragranced flowers have a multicolored toothy single layer of petals and the classic curled stamen in the centers of each. Plus after a long display, you’ll enjoy a rebloom if you are consistent about deadheading!
Planting and Application:
These low-growing mats choke out weeds and provide year-round groundcover throughout your garden beds. Also providing fantastic edging and spillers over border edges and container sides! These creeping mounds ease the transition between manicured lawn and garden with a scented, colorful display that’s unmatched.
Dianthus Raspberry Swirl is fantastic in rock gardens where they ramble and tumble over stones and around other plants without disturbing them. They’re also great at softening hardscapes and erosion control, so plant atop a retaining wall or on a hard-to-mow slope or dangerous hillside, transforming it into a year-round delightful focal point!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Dianthus loves the sun and prefers low-moisture once established, so provide an area that is very well-drained. Pruning is best done in early spring before you see new growth to remove dead branches and clean up the mound to keep it neat and tidy.
