Daylilies grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. Provide moderate moisture while establishing, and after give your plants supplemental moisture during the worst of drought. Add a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch over the soil surface for best results!

Deadhead to encourage a rebloom that lasts for weeks during the summer until the fall. Once the foliage dies back to the ground in the autumn, trim back the leaves and top with compost or refresh the mulch for the winter.
