This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

If you want your yard to look stunning all growing season long, rely on the stunning Cooke's Purple™ Wisteria (Wisteria sinensis 'Cooke's Purple'). You’ll be so impressed with this plant. It will rebloom all the way through the season for you!
Discovered as a chance seedling, Cooke’s Purple is a vigorous, deciduous vine. It features huge, drooping lavender and purple flowers.
The blooms liberally drip from the plant for 5 months during the growing season, unlike any other Wisteria. You’ve got to get your hands on this variety!
The spring flower racemes are up to 18 inches long. They appear before the leaves do, so the display is phenomenal.
In the summertime, you’ll be treated to additional flower flushes from 8 inches to 12 inches long. The racemes hang from this twining vine liberally.
Enjoy a very sophisticated flower display from April to September. It just doesn’t get better than that, does it?
Order this special variety from the expert growers at Nature Hills today!
How to Use Cooke's Purple™ Wisteria in the Landscape
Wisteria is surprisingly versatile. Grow it on a sturdy structure, such as a pergola, arbor or gazebo.
These twining vines may need a little guidance from you, but directing flowering vines is one of the simple joys of gardening. It’s a chance to get outside and appreciate your beautiful landscape!
Cooke’s Purple is a sun-loving, easy-care plant that can quickly cover chain-link fences, rock walls, or eyesores like old tv towers. Make everything look a lot better with help from this gorgeous plant.
Allow it to scramble down treacherous slopes. Plant 20 feet apart to quickly cover the ground for you. Far safer than trying to mow turf!
Use it along the ground to cover rock piles. Or, plant it at the top of retaining walls and let it become a tremendously dramatic accent feature with those pendulous purple blossoms.
For a more hands-on project, consider trained Cooke’s Purple Wisteria as a single stem tree form. How proud you’ll be to create a beautiful tree with some light pruning a few times each year to maintain it that way.
Another tried-and-true approach is to install an espalier fencing system. This way, it can be grown near brick walls and other structures.
#ProPlantTips for Care
It will flower best for you in full sun. Ensure it receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day.
During the first season, please water carefully to establish the roots in your soil. After that, give water regularly as needed, especially in times of drought. You’ll want to keep your beautiful plant stress free, after all!
Cooke’s Purple Wisteria does best in well-drained soil. Beyond that, it is widely adaptable in USDA Zones 5 - 9.
People tell us that Cooke’s Purple Wisteria blooms younger than other varieties. However, if you grow it near the lawn, be sure to keep lawn fertilizer away from the Wisteria. After all, a formula for lawns is high in nitrogen, and that will reduce the flowering.
Order today and enjoy this very special plant. Cooke’s Purple Wisteria from Nature Hills is an incredible choice. Get ready for the compliments!
