Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

White fluffy pompoms, the Cone-fections™ Meringue Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Meringue') is a creamy confection with subtle yellow tints, just like its namesake pie! The barely yellow pom-poms with apple green raised centers, sitting atop white ray petals, create this delicious-looking "meringue" Coneflower!
As the flower ages, the petals open as flat as a Daisy, and as it matures the center cone grows upward and develops short, puffy petals that give it that "frosting piled high" effect! A delight for songbirds, this distinctive knee-high variety was introduced by AB Cultivars and blooms from mid to late summer.
Meringue has a huge number of blooms which is marvelous, but it's the compact, easily controlled habit that is so impressive! Heat and cold hardy, these specialty Echinacea grow throughout USDA planting zones 3 to 8! But these dreamy blossoms have kept their native hardiness, resisting drought, deer, rabbits, and pests with ease.
Planting and Application:
The sturdy stems carry the blossoms from midsummer to fall! Make a bold statement in the landscape with these creamy flowers! Mix with other mellow hues and pastels to create a luscious Cut Flower Garden, mixed Perennial borders, and throughout the sunny Cottage Garden or glowing like the lunar surface in the Moon Garden.
Pot up in some fancy planters or decorative mixed containers to add their fancy frills to your outdoor seating areas and balconies, porches, or patios!
These full pompom-like flowers are a must-have for the Pollinator border as they feed a wide variety of beneficial insects, bees, butterflies, and Hummingbirds! Plant in wildlife and wildflower gardens, and add a modern flourish to your prairie gardens and meadows!
Tolerating the sun, handling poor soil, and periodic drought, these fantastic specimens shine in the hell strip along the road or sidewalk, and in Rock Gardens. Include them in your Fire-Wise landscaping plan! This selection is low-maintenance and will fill a wide, open area with a modern and eye-catching mass planting without all the work.
- Creamy Barely-Yellow Double Blooms
- Raised Petalled Centers
- Strong Stems & Small Compact Foliage Mounds
- Pollinator-Friendly & Amazing Cut Flower Thrillers!
- Unique Specimens, Accents, Edging, Massing & Vibrant Potted Plants
#ProPlantTips for Care:
For best results, plant these resilient perennials in full sun in a well-drained area to ensure they have the strongest stems and the most blooms. Meringue usually reblooms without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this procedure will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improve their general appearance. Plant with Nature Hills Root Booster and access to yearly fertility to keep the blooms popping!
Provide moderate, yet consistent moisture for new plants, then afterward, Meringue only needs supplemental moisture during prolonged heat and drought. All plants can be kept stress-free with a 3-4-inch layer of arborist mulch.
Coneflowers rebloom without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improve general appearance. If you leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall their seeds provide winter food for birds. You can enjoy the dried seed heads as well because they will provide architectural interest in the winter.
