To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Featuring a large, green cone-like center that is surrounded by soft-green petals that stay true to their color as they age! Green Jewel Echinacea was discovered by Piet Oudolf and introduced through Future Plants, and is now delivered to your door by Nature Hills!
These tender perennials sprout every spring and fill out with rough scratchy dark green leaves that are sword-like and form upright clumps. Green Jewel has truly lime-green flowers with a nice compact growth habit. It is perfect for fresh-cut or dried floral arrangements! Easy care and low maintenance perennials, Coneflowers are wonderfully colorful plants that bloom from summer til frost!
Echinacea are fantastic pollinator plants calling bees and butterflies and are nectar-rich pollen resources for native species and beneficial pollinators. These long-lasting blossoms usually rebloom without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this procedure will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improve the plant's general appearance in gardens throughout USDA planting zones 3 to 8.
Planting and Application:
Echinacea is known for its large flower heads that turn to seeds in the fall. It is a great choice for cut flowers, and Green Jewel adds a modern and upscale wilderness look to your garden. Echinacea are easy-to-grow herbaceous perennials and need to be planted in full sun for the best health, strength, and color. Provide moderate water until they're established, then after that Coneflowers are very drought tolerant! Any type of well-drained soil works and they appreciate being planted with Nature Hills Root Booster and access to yearly fertility to keep the blooms popping!
Deadhead to encourage rebloom and branching then prune to the ground in the Fall. Divide clumps when they become overcrowded, about every 3-4 years, and enjoy doubling your plants for you or a friend!
