#ProPlantTips for Care:

Like any Rose, Chantilly Cream™ Hybrid Tea Roses loves full sun, but in the hottest climates in its range does appreciate a touch of afternoon shade. Roses also need good air circulation to do their best. Plant Roses in well-drained enriched soil, and keep very well watered, using the Finger Test method with regular moisture access and regular fertility. Apply Rose fertilizer 2-3 times a year for best results according to package directions. Don't fertilize after July to ensure your shrub's new growth has time to harden off before winter.

Apply 3-4 inches of arborist mulch to keep the roots moist and protected. Mulch also prevents mud and water from splashing the foliage, keeping it cleaner and disease/fungal-free. Growing Hybrid Tea Roses in zones 7 and under should be mounded with 8-12 inches of mulch in late fall - after the frost has killed the leaves - for the best overwintering outcome. Deadhead blooms often to keep fresh flowers coming back. Prune in early spring to about 6-8 inches above the crown to encourage thick, full new growth each year.
