Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Centennial Hops (Humulus lupulus 'Centennial') adds a supple complexity to craft brew recipes. With an acid composition up to 12% alpha acid; Centennial Hops is a versatile selection to grow at home.
Centennial delivers a brightly bitter flavor with notes of lemon and pine. Similar to Cascade, this robust variety is a good "all-rounder" that is used in diverse American craft beers from IPA to Amber, Stout and Blonde Ale.
This aroma-type hop can also be used as a bittering hop. People also rely on Centennial to capture more of its clean, intense flavor and aroma in dry hopping techniques.
You'll gather a wonderful harvest of compact, sticky cones in the midseason. Perennial Centennial Hop comes back year after year.
People are often surprised at the beauty of a mature Hops bine. The fragrant flowers are like small, chartreuse-green, papery pinecones and never fail to draw attention from garden guests.
Many people don't know what goes into beer making, so it's always a good conversation starter! Share one of your latest creations with them to really spark their interest.
There is a huge resurgence of interest across the United States in growing Hops. Enjoy the satisfying "ground to glass" experience when you add homegrown Hops into your process.

How to Use Centennial Hops in the Landscape
Edible landscaping is huge these days...and no wonder. All across the United States, people are waking up to the fact that homegrown good tastes amazing and grants a blissful feeling of security.
Why not add Hops bines to the mix? Create an ornamental enclosure for your Victory Garden, or use as a narrow vertical "garden wall" to define outdoor rooms.
Each year, the Hops plant reaches approximately 20 feet tall. Plant an impactful row in a sunny side yard to easily block out unsightly views next door.
Give them plenty of sunlight and good air circulation. Hop plants need sturdy support on a trellis, or tall poles set in concrete footings.
String sturdy twine from the top of your pole to a stake at ground level. People have a good time designing their "Hop farms"...let your creativity come out in the home landscape.
Limited space? String twine along three sides of a single pole to grow three bines in a pyramidal footprint for a marvelous garden feature.
#ProPlantTips for Care
Plan to harvest and process your alpha acid-rich Centennial Hops quickly. Harvest, dry and bag them for cold storage as the sticky cones reach ripeness and spring back after a gentle squeeze.
Hops bines require full sun and soil that drains quickly after rain events. If you need to improve the rate of drainage, elevate your planting with additional sandy loam.
Give them a moderate amount of water on a regular schedule. Mulch helps maintain the proper temperature and improves the soil quality over time.
Train young plants to their support as they grow. Bines grow clockwise around their support, so check them regularly and lend a hand when needed.
Good Hops culture is designed to provide plenty of air circulation around each plant. Remove leaves from the lower few feet once the plant is 10 feet tall; and consider protective early treatments. Follow label instructions for all garden applications.
The superlative taste and performance has guaranteed their place as a very popular Hop variety. Place your order for our expertly grown Centennial Hops today!
