Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

At Nature Hills we handle, package and ship the products you order with the utmost care to ensure healthy delivery. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the tables below. Gorgeous creamy-yellow skinned fruit, the Canadian White Blenheim Apricot Tree (Prunus armeniaca 'Canadian White Blenheim') has been called one of the best-tasting Apricots around! Winning awards year after year, it becomes covered in small rounded fruits that are syrupy sweet!

White Apricot Trees are highly productive and resistant to Plum Pox virus, so they’re highly rated for home orchards! They’re also gorgeous flowering landscape ornamentals with their drifts of frilly pink blossoms that are delightfully fragrant! Soon the fruit develops and looks like glowing golden gems among the glossy green leaves!

Pollinator-friendly, be sure to plant Canadian White Apricot with a pollinator partner, so plant another late-blooming variety close by for a larger crop per tree. Also known in China where it originates, as the Dabaixing Apricot, these are unique specialty crops. Perfect for fresh eating, freezing, dried or made into preserves!

Planting and Application:

With a smaller than average mature height and width, these are ideal for home orchards and landscapes, where these ornamental trees provide great shade and specimen accents! The drifts of pink blossoms and glowing golden orbs, make them fantastic front yard trees that we’re sure everyone will slow down to have a look at least twice a year!

Blenheim Apricot Tree does need a pollinator so plant this and another tree in groups for shade and privacy, or in hedgerows of other fruit trees, and of course in your very own orchard! Prune smaller to accommodate smaller yards or tuck into existing landscapes.

  • Super Sweet White Flesh
  • Pale-Yellow Smooth Skin
  • Fresh, Preserves, Dried & Frozen
  • Requires a Pollinator
  • Late Season Harvest

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Apricot trees and other fruit need at least 6 hours of full sun per day for the most flowers and fruit. Provide a location that has good air circulation and well-drained enriched soil. Fruit trees need moderate, yet consistent moisture during the growing season as well. Otherwise, you’ll enjoy a low-maintenance tree!

Canadian White Blenheim Apricot Tree is a unique gem of a fruit tree we’re sure no one else on the block has, but everyone will want a sample! Order yours at NatureHills.com to find this and other specialty fruit trees and more today!
