To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

California Garlic is easy to grow and highly productive. When ready to harvest, this reliable variety forms fat cloves packed with powerful garlic flavor. Homegrown Garlic is spicier and more pungent when fresh, plus more aromatic and juicier than anything you[‘ll find in the store!
Cultivated for thousands of years for both culinary and medicinal uses, you’ll be able to practice your garlic braiding because when this garlic is ready to be harvested, you will want to store as much as you can for future meals. Planting and Application:
Garlic is best planted in the fall at the same time you are planting spring-flowering bulbs Break the bulbs into individual cloves and plant them about 4-6 inches apart, root side down and pointed side up. You can eat the green shoots that emerge in spring and even any flower shoots - called scapes! These add flavor and color to your spring and summer dishes.
Mature for harvest in a single season, once the green leaves turn yellow and die down, that is the time to harvest. Use in any culinary recipe you can imagine, cooked, roasted, fresh or dried and ground into your own garlic powder!
