Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

  • Late Spring Bloom
  • Merlot To Deep Purple Blooms
  • Massive Blooms
  • Great In Containers

There's nothing subtle about this dark and mysterious Single Late tulip. The Cafe Noir (Tulipa 'Cafe Noir') is all about drama and style. From its deep wine-colored bloom to its arriving fashionably late to spring, this tulip is not a stranger to double-takes.

The Cafe Noir Tulip has deep merlot colored petals that can appear deep purple depending on lighting and point in the opening process. In fact, the single bloom adds depth to the exquisite nature of this flower as its layering creates even more interest. In addition to its rich and rare color, the Cafe Noir Tulip also has a luxurious silky sheen as if dressed for a romantic night out.

As a Single Late, the Cafe Noir Tulip has a strong stem. Unlike other Single Lates, this one doesn't grow more than 20-inches in height. This makes it ideal as a front border or as a middle in your garden bed.

The Cafe Noir Tulip is one of the most stunning cut flowers imaginable. When planted in groups, this tulip is sure to turn heads. And if you're wondering what other spring blooms can stand up to such a ravishing beauty, pale daffodils and iris highlight just how unique this tulip is. It can stand alone as a grouped border, as well.

If you suddenly hear Gaga's "Bad Romance" filter into your head as you admire this blood-red beauty, it may be a sign that you need a bit more drama in your garden. And when it comes to drama, the Cafe Noir is unmatched. Order your own today to embask in its beauty!

We will ship your bulbs based on the correct planting time for your area.
