This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 5-11
The gorgeous Buzz™ Lavender Butterfly Bush (Buddleia davidii 'Buzz Lavender') is an ornamental shrub with a dwarf nature and long-blooming, gorgeous lavender flowers! The aromatic green leaves and airy yet compact growth reach about 4 feet in height! These plants will be full of long slender flower clusters, packed with hundreds of tiny trumpets!
Your fragrant Buzz™ Lavender has all the remarkable features of a Butterfly Bush but with a smaller stature. It's the perfect way to bring the color and fragrance of this remarkable shrub to your yard without the need for a lot of space!
Buddleia Buzz™ Lavender will astound you each year with its prolific bloom of soothing, lavender flowers that begin in late May and will rebloom right up until your first frost. Each collection of delicate, lavender blossoms is clustered upon long, 6-inch spikes that rise above the elliptic, grey-tinted green foliage.
Buzz™ Lavender Butterfly Bush has an upright, somewhat bushy nature and a more compact nature than some other, larger varieties. Buzz™ Lavender is adaptable to a variety of conditions and overall quite hardy. Fast-growing, prolific flowers and hardy nature, Buzz™ Lavender Butterfly Bush is not only easy to grow but also a remarkably beautiful shrub throughout USDA planting zones 5 to 11.
Planting and Application:
Plant a few Buzz™ Lavender Butterfly Bush for a short, showy hedge or even just one or two in your perennial bed or pollinator border! They'll make an airy backdrop or facer plant border that will light up an evergreen hedge! Anywhere they're sure to make an impression!
Buzz™ Lavender would even do well in a few containers on your patio and perfume your poolside or porch planters in the sun. Snip a few stems for bouquets indoors without worrying you'll deprive your pollinators of any nectar!
With the added advantage of its allure to butterflies and other pollinators, the addition of a Buzz™ Lavender Butterfly Bush to your Perennial Border and Cottage Garden is an almost magical addition that you won't want to miss! Even cut flower borders and foundation hedges look better with these vivid fragrant blooms in their midst.
- Fragrant Lavender Flower Spires
- Aromatic Gray-Green Foliage & Airy Compact Growth
- Fast-Growing Perennial Shrubs
- Must-Have For Pollinators & Hummingbirds
- Works Well in Containers, Borders, Specimens & Cut Flower Gardens
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Butterfly Bushes are wonderfully easy to grow and drought and deer-tolerant once established. Plant Buddleia in full sun and well-drained moderately moist soil. Use Nature Hills Root Booster at the time of planting and top off with a 3-4 inch layer of mulch to retain moisture and insulate the roots.
In cooler growing zones Buddleia act like herbaceous perennials and die back near the ground, so in very early spring, before you see new growth, prune the entire plant near the ground to ensure an even new flush of growth each year. In warmer climates, trim any of the winter dieback off once new growth appears in spring. Deadhead spent blossoms to keep new ones returning until frost!
- Full Sun Perennial/Shrub
- Adaptable to a Wide Variety of Conditions!
- Well-Drained Moderately Moist Soil
- Prune Back In Early Spring
- Deer & Rabbit Seldom Bother These Plants!
