Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Container Volume Specifications
- Trade Gallon Standard: Our containers follow industry-standard "trade gallon" specifications established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI Z60.1) for nursery stock
- Volume Variations: Actual soil volume may vary due to plant root systems and growing medium settlement
- Age Indicators: Container size primarily indicates plant age and maturity rather than liquid volume equivalents
Growing Conditions
- Plant size can vary based on variety and growing conditions
- Container size helps indicate plant maturity and establishment level
- Larger containers generally mean more established root systems and faster landscape establishment
Seasonal Availability
- Bare root plants are available seasonally when dormant
- Container plants are available throughout the growing season

Growing Zones 5-10
Are you a high performer, naturally expecting the best from yourself and others? Do you prefer your home to be modern yet visually warm? If so, we know you work very hard to foster an open feel and a sense of clean lines without clutter. If you consider yourself a classy, energetic powerhouse - congratulations! Beautiful Bridal Sunblaze® (Rosa x 'Meilmera') is your Miniature Rose!
Hardy and easy to grow, these compact Roses bloom from spring until fall. This improved, easy-care Rose bush stays compact and blooms all growing season long! You'll be delighted with the small, white, very double blooms. There are over 40 petals per tiny, lavish bloom! This lovely small Rose plays well with a million different styling choices. It's dynamic but never gaudy. White, but not stark. Classy, but showy.
You'll make a definite impact, without shouting for attention. Best of all, you'll never grow tired of this versatile choice from the expert breeder, Meilland®. These are tough yet easy-going modern Roses. Blissfully disease-resistant foliage shines in the sun. Each dark green, textured leaf looks quilted. And although they are tiny, these charming Miniature Roses add a big impact to your garden. These little dynamos are also highly adaptable throughout USDA growing zones 5-10 and tolerate heat and chill with ease!
Planting and Application:
Growing only 12-18 inches tall and wide, you'll enjoy a big impact with a small footprint. Ideal for containers and gardens. Another effective way to showcase Bridal Sunblaze® Miniature Roses is in containers. Mass them as a blooming filler in oversized pots, or cluster several on your deck or balcony. Situate around a seating area or meditation nook to help you relax after a long day or enjoy the blooms opening with your morning cup of tea!
Consider lining either side of your front walk, dividing your front yard from the sidewalk, for a bigger visual impact! Mass plantings look terrific in small space gardens. Create a narrow mulched bed with a staggered, zigzagging planting pattern. These dainty beauties will add a tremendous amount of curb appeal. Imagine how fresh a long series of rows would look planted along your front walk. Talk about an easy way to update your foundation planting! or row along your driveway.
Grow them in outdoor pots to create an effervescent look with fresh, clean white outdoor accessories. Or, incorporate them into an all-white Moon Garden for a fabulous display day or night. Any garden becomes a cut flower garden and pollinator garden when Roses are included! Use as edging along larger garden beds or as facer shrubs to hide the leggy stems of older plants.
What better way to use Bridal Sunblaze® as an incredible gift to celebrate new beginnings? A pure white flowering gift for a new bride or mother of the bride? Perhaps to welcome a new baby into the family? Is someone you know in need of some cheer? Or maybe to beautifully memorialize the loss of a loved one? A living Rose is always a welcome gift and for the cost of a bouquet of Roses at a Florist, your gift will keep on giving every year!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Miniature Roses do best with at least six or more hours of sun a day! They need well-drained soil, as well. Improve drainage by mounding up extra soil. Create a raised bed by adding decorative edging. During planting, dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots, but no deeper. Carefully check the level of dirt, so the crown remains at soil level. We highly recommend symbiotic Nature Hills Root Booster during planting. It will support your pretty Roses by creating a lifelong symbiotic relationship with your plant's root system.
Give Bridal Sunblaze® Roses a regular schedule of water. Mulch over the root zone to keep it cool, but be sure to pull it back away from touching the canes. Roses also need regular feeding with a special Rose fertilizer. Follow the instructions on the label to support repeat bloomers! Prune Roses in early spring, removing any broken branches. Trim canes down to 6 - 8"; cutting at a 45-degree angle just above a nice, fat bud.
