To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Sedums are one of the most underused plants in the world! For an especially hard-working and pretty Sedum, look no further than Blue Spruce Stonecrop (Sedum reflexum 'Blue Spruce'). It has small blue-green leaves that look like they belong on a Christmas tree!
In early summer, they carry yellow flowers high above the foliage for many weeks. Much to the delight of every bee and butterfly in the area! These nectar-rich star-shaped flowers arrive in clusters, lasting well into the fall in many areas!
They are semi-evergreen to evergreen in mild winter areas of USDA growing zones 3 through 11. But in cold climates, Creeping Sedum, also known as Stonecrop, are reliable perennial plants! Growing just a few inches tall, but Blue Spruce Sedum spread about 18 inches tall!
Planting and Application:
Sedum is an excellent drought-tolerant groundcover that spreads quickly and thickly, suppressing weeds as it grows. They are a hard-working addition to containers, Rock Gardens, perennial borders, Alpine gardens, succulent gardens, and big garden beds!
Try these trailing Sedum spilling over a rock wall or tumbling out of your favorite container gardens! Tuck them around a crevice garden or around the pool. Let them fill in between decorative stepping stones or soften the edge of your garden stairs!
The cool blue hue melds wonderfully with pale yellows, lavenders, pinks and shines with white plants! These low-maintenance plants thrive in full sun and well-drained soil and to be kept on the dry side. Water these perennials regularly to get established, afterwards, they only need supplemental watering during times of extreme heat and drought! Thriving in clay soils, gravel, and sand, any soil in full sun that is dry to medium moisture is perfect for these plants! For better moisture retention, add a 3-4 inch layer of arborist mulch around the root zone to keep more moisture consistency in the soil. Rake gently or prune in the very early spring, and divide clumps every 3-5 years to maintain vigor.
