Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes

#ProPlantTips For Care
Full sun Russian Sage tolerates harsh dry conditions with ease! These herbaceous perennials require regular access to water while young plants are establishing, but afterward, they have moderate to low moisture needs. All types of well-drained soil work great for these hardy plants! Drought-tolerant once established, Russian Sage thrives in rocky, sandy, poor soil and urban conditions no problem! Cut all stems down to a few inches each year in late winter or early spring to allow all new growth to form from the base.
