Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

Gorgeous Petite Blue Glory of the Snow

  • Glowing Cornflower Blue Blooms
  • First Bloom of Early Spring Late Winter
  • Will Bloom Through Snow
  • Deer Resistant

Blue Glory of the Snow is a gardener's best-kept secret. So, congratulations on making into an elite club of smart gardeners. This sweet and delightful spring-blooming bulb isn't as well known as the crocus, but it sure does bring cheer when it peeks through the snow.

It's easy to see how the Blue Glory of the Snow earned its name. Known as one of the first blooming flowers that come to life, even through early spring snow.

The Blue Glory of the Snow is a true-blue blooming spring bulb that didn't become popular until the Victorian Era. These star-shaped blooms bring vibrancy and brilliance with lemon-yellow centers surrounded with a ring of snow-white that fades to bright cornflower blue.

This cheery flower isn't just admired for its small but showy blooms. Its sturdy green foliage is also attractive and provides the post-winter garden with a pop of verdant green.

Blue Glory of the Snow naturalizes easily and will carpet your lawn, garden, or an area beneath a deciduous shrub where they can receive full sun or partial shade. Create a symphony of color and joy when you mix your Blue Glory of the Snow bulbs with other Chionodoxa varieties. Bring life to your rock garden or along a garden path. Be sure to plant them in groups of 5 to 7 and give them room to fill in.

The Blue Glory of the Snow comes back year after year to greet you. You don't have to worry about the deer munching on them, either. These dear plants are deer-resistant. Plant your bulbs in fall and separate in fall and move your extras to another area of your yard.

Bring some pep and brightness to your late-winter, early-spring garden with Blue Glory of the Snow. This unique flower may be a best-kept secret, but our stock won't last forever.

We will ship based on the correct planting time for your area.
