Don't let the name fool you, there's nothing bland about Blanda Anemones (Anemone blanda (Mix))! These bright and cheery blooms are the perfect "set it and forget it" choice for low-maintenance gardens. These jolly wildflowers will come back year after year with showy Daisy-like blooms that range in color for a fun and festive show!
You'll love the dappled effect of our Blanda Anemone Mix! This mix also includes two-tone pink, white, and bluish-purple blooms with long, narrow petals that burst from their fluffy yellow centers. These vibrant flowers pop up and stand tall in relation to their low-growing, lush foliage. And these adorable Windflowers bloom all spring long!
They're an excellent choice for gardeners that don't want a lot of fuss but love color and showy flowers. Blanda Anemones spread easily through the garden or yard and have thick foliage with lovely lobed leaves. They also tend to perform best with a winter chill. Hardy throughout USDA planting zones 4 to 8, growing just 3-5 inches but spread into drifts and naturalize politely.
Planting and Application:

They also make for darling wildflower bouquets if you have room in your cut flower bed and Cottage Garden. You and your pollinators will adore the burst of early color and nectar resource!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
These perennial bulbs should be planted in the autumn in a full sun in northern climates, but appreciate some afternoon shade in hot summer climates. Easily grown in organically rich, moderate moisture, well-drained soil. You can soak tubers overnight before planting. Loving a layer of mulch over the entire area to keep weeds at bay and hold in soil moisture. Plant tubers 2-3 inches deep and space them about 3-5 inches apart. Deer and rabbits shouldn't be a problem, so plant freely wherever you'd like to see their cheerful petals! Because they naturalize, you may want to divide them every so often.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Well-Drained Rich Soil
- Moderate Moisture Needs
- Fall-Planted Early Spring Perennial Bulb
- Clean Mounds Before New Growth Emerges
