The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 12 (houseplant all growing zones)
Have some fun and add some spice to your life! The Black Pepper Vine Plant (Piper nigrum) is a unique houseplant or porch plant for warm-season decorating, featuring long drooping bloom spikes that form reddish, purplish, near-black berries where true Peppercorn seeds come from! Long woody vining plants that are great climbing and winding plants for vertical interest.
The pointed oval foliage has a glossy surface and deep venation that really stands out and looks amazing in the home or sun patio setting. Potentially reaching 15 feet tall in their native habitat, these typically climb poles, tree trunks, and trellis in containers by an indirect bright window or year-round in a growing zone 12 garden setting.
Once the fruit is ripe, the single seed inside each fruit, and depending on when you harvest these seeds, you'll end up with a type of ground pepper ranging from black to white, green, or red for all your seasoning needs.
Planting and Application:
Black and green pepper is made from the unripe seeds while they're still green, cooked, and dried, while white pepper is created from the ripe fruit that’s soaked and then dried. Red pepper, like White, is the ripe seeds that are preserved in brine or vinegar. You'll have plenty from each plant to spice up your favorite recipes!
Black Pepper Plants when not used for flowers or fruit are gorgeous climbing tropical greenery and look great on their own winding up a pole or trellis, or combined as vertical elements among other exotic tropical vines. Train to climb as screening and privacy, or cover a bare wall in your home or balcony to create a vertical garden! The yellowish-green flower spikes appear in summer to add curious interest to the plant! As a houseplant, Black Pepper Vine grows in a hanging basket, or should be trellised in a container so it can climb up.
