To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Viettes Little Suzy Black-Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia 'Viett's Little Suzy') is a beautiful dwarf variety of the Indian Summer Black-Eyed Susan. It is a popular, easy-to-grow perennial that has a long blooming period and excellent fall foliage color. Viettes however, is a sweet and petite little version of these fantastic herbaceous perennials!
Black-eyed Susan's Viettes Little Suzy attracts butterflies and provides food for birds in the winter! The big blooms are the perfect landing pads for bees and beneficial insects, then as the blooms fade, the seed heads add lovely texture in the fall and winter, plus the seeds are ideal for songbirds to feast on!
The long bright yellow ray petals surround the brown domed centers! The coarse, scratchy feeling deep green foliage remains healthy all growing season and resists the heat and chill throughout USDA growing zones 4 through 8. These are incredibly easy to grow and dwarf in size for space-saving gardening!
Planting and Application:
Viettes is great in borders, for cut flowers, or for naturalized areas. These are incredible wildlife and pollinator plants! Make banks and groupings in the pollinator garden and add late summer and fall blooms in cottage borders to extend your flowering season! Rudbeckia thrive in the full sun and almost any type of soil. Provide these fast-growing and easy-to-care for perennials with moderate regular moisture, then become drought tolerant once established. Black-eyed Susan's need to be grown in full sun in somewhat moist soil conditions in a well-drained area. Deadheading will encourage more blooming.
