The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.
Standard Shipping Rates
At Nature Hills we handle, package and ship the products you order with the utmost care to ensure healthy delivery. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the tables below. - Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

Growing Zones 3-8
Shocking color combination, the Black Eye Asiatic Lily (Lilium 'Purple Eye') is a wonderfully two-tone bright white and deep, dark purple - almost black- centers! The edges of each petal are also accented in this eye-popping hue! Each bloom displays bright yellow pollen to attract loads of beneficial insects and native bees. These floral spikes have multiple green buds per stem and put on a late spring to early summer show!
Sitting atop strong stems fringed in strappy leaves along the entire stem, these cluster-forming perennial bulbs put on a vivid display in either the garden bed and border, or in your vases indoors! Imagine these blooms paired with white Roses or other dark blooms like the Black Charm Lily.
Asiatic Lilies are perennial bulbs that are hardy throughout USDA growing zones 3 to 8, popping up bigger and better each year! No overpowering fragrance like Oriental Lilies, allergy sufferers can enjoy having these blooms nearby!
Planting and Application:
The deep, near-black hue and gleaming white blooms provide you with a shocking color combo! Snip a few for your vase arrangements to add glam around the dining table. The radiant Black Eye Lily looks incredible in the garden, and calls in the pollinators galore! These big, summer-blooming stars are perfect additions to the cottage border, ideal for the cut flower garden, and must-haves in the pollinator beds!
The eye-popping visual impact this contrasting two-tone bloom has on the garden has to be seen to believe! Compact enough for mixed planters and as focal points. These space-saving plants form tidy clumps on their own, but by grouping or planting Lilies en masse simply amplifies the effect! The butterflies and bees will arrive in swarms to check out the incredible display!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Asiatic Lilies love the sun but do appreciate afternoon shade in the hottest climates. Plant in about any well-drained soil with moderate moisture and fertility. Deadhead after bloom but leave the foliage until frost so they can make food for the bulbs, then prune to the ground when they die back in late autumn.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Well-Drained Soil
- Moderate Moisture Needs
- Deadhead After Bloom & Prune Back Late Autumn
