Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Your Admiration Barberry will do best with full sun, and can tolerate partial shade, however, the foliage color will not be quite as brilliantly colored. It also prefers well-drained soil that is slightly acidic and well-mulched to block weed competition. Plant with Nature Hills Root Booster and ensure a consistent watering schedule for new plants. Try using the Finger Test to make sure you don't let new installations dry out. This is a set-it-and-forget-it shrub that rarely needs to be watered after getting established, becoming wonderfully waterwise!
Pruning is only necessary to remove wild hairs and is best done after the flowers have finished. You'll want to wear thick gloves when working with Barberry.
Deer doesn't prefer the taste, but we always recommend Deer Repellent Spray on new plantings from day one if you live in an area with heavy pressure. Reapply according to the directions through the growing season.
- Full Sun/Partial Shade
- Acidic Well-Drained Soil
- Moderate Moisture Needs - Waterwise Once Established
- Rarely Needs Pruning - Prune After Flowering Only
- Pest & Disease Resistant & Deer Seldom Bother Barberry
- Very Cold-Hardy
