Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Dramatically dark purplish blue blooms, the Back in Black Agapanthus (Agapanthus x 'Back in Black') is a dark version of the classic tropical-looking Lily of the Nile! The round umbles of trumpet-shaped blooms stand out on slender petioles atop a sturdy stem for an extravagant display! Calling every pollinator and Hummingbird in the area for added delight!
Back in Black's summer blooms are backed by clumping upright strappy dark green foliage that looks fantastic all growing season long! Snip a few flowers for bouquets that are next level, or keep them outdoors to major neighborhood points and require very little in the way of maintenance in return!
Lily of the Nile are space-saving clumping plants and the elegant blooms with as high an impact on your landscape as their larger cousins! Agapanthus is truly a 'plant-it-and-forget-it' flowering perennial bulb! It will reward you with an overabundance of flowers all year round, but especially in the spring and summer. Not to worry, though, if you live anywhere north of USDA growing zone 5, Agapanthus make great potted plants for summer accents and décor. You just need to bring them indoors in the coldest months.
Planting and Application:
They fit into just about any garden style from modern to traditional to beachy to exotic. Excellent for modern Rock Gardens, these xeric little workhorses will fit into borders or garden beds. They make great punctuation points amongst evergreen shrubs. You've never seen anything quite as beautiful as a row of Agapanthus in full bloom against a white picket fence or a foundation row of evergreens or among Roses, Larkspur, Alliums, or White Lilies!
Easily tucking into any sized sun garden, courtyard, small urban lot, or commercial setting with ease! Perfect for even if you don't have a landscape too - just pot up in an elegant container on your front porch, dress up a balcony container garden, or decorate a patio in planters. Both solo in groupings or as the thriller plant among other spillers and fillers! These are also one of the most perfect plants ever for planting around a swimming pool with other tropical greenery and exotic blooming plants.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Agapanthus are summer-flowering bulbs that flower best full sun and appreciate afternoon shade in the warmer growing zones. Provide consistent moisture in a deep, enriched and well-drained environment for best results. These bulbs will rot in excessive water so ensure containers and planters have good drainage. Prune back foliage once it yellows and dig bulbs up in colder growing zones and bring them indoors for the winter as you would Elephant Ear or Calla Lily.
