Much to our unending disappointment, no one has figured out how to make money growing on trees. However, they have created a gold-bearing bush … Golden Raspberry bush that is! Gorgeous and delectable, the golden Anne Raspberry Bush (Rubus idaeus 'Anne') is a yellow Everbearing variety that produces the most mesmerizing golden-yellow fruit!
It's almost too pretty to eat … almost!
With large, sweet, firm berries of an illuminating golden color of the late afternoon sun. Year after year, this bush will positively shine! Once you've tasted these Raspberries, you'll be glad you have two harvests to eat!
Anne Golden Raspberry covers itself with petite white flowers in the spring in preparation for the berry production to come. Butterflies and bees flock to your garden for a tasty snack in the spring, but then again later that summer! Because these Everbearing bushes have two crops per growing season!
They have the classic taste with a hint of apricot that is sure to leave a lasting impression! Use them in jams or salads or freeze them for a tasty snack in mid-winter. Of course, nothing beats eating them fresh!
Planting and Application:
Where wouldn't you want to plant one of these golden Raspberry bushes? Not one, but two cheerful flowering displays and double the gilded harvest? Go ahead and plant this beauty front and center in your home's landscaping and make the neighborhood jealous! Even when not in flower or dripping in fruit, those textured green leaves and arching canes are gorgeous ornamentals in their own right!
These golden berry bushes take edible landscaping to new heights, but only figuratively. Growing just 3-4 feet in height and width, Anne won't take over your garden by any means! Beautiful hedges for property division, lovely groupings, and space-saving enough for container gardening, Anne Raspberries just need a sunny nook to work their magic!
You might consider covering the bush with netting so you won't have to share the berries with hungry birds! We can't blame them for wanting a morsel, who wouldn't? Plant multiple Anne Raspberry Bushes, or pair Anne with a Summer-bearing bush like the deep red Royalty to bridge the gap between crops. Not only for increased pollination and harvest but also to share with your feathered friends and wildlife!
Or you can be greedy and cover a single self-pollinating shrub with bird netting to keep this golden harvest all to yourself, we won’t make you feel bad one bit! A single shrub will give you double the harvest each growing season without the need for another bush.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Raspberry bushes need the power of the full sun to flower and fruit the best, especially morning sun access to dry their leaves of dew. Don't crowd your shrubs either, they need good air circulation. This keeps them growing strong and healthy.
Provide a location with very good drainage that is enriched with compost and top-dressed with 3-4 inches of mulch to retain moisture and enrich the site.
Berry bushes need regular watering to support those fat, juicy fruits! So do not let your shrubs dry out. We recommend drip irrigation or soaker hoses to save you time.
Another fantastic quality of Anne Yellow Raspberry bushes is that they are self-pollinating and disease-resistant! No other plant is needed to reap the benefits of a full golden harvest! Simply plant, sit back, and watch this wonderful specimen thrive!
Once the berries are done, prune the fruiting canes to keep producing at maximum potential in the years to come. 'Tipping' or tip-pruning is highly recommended. Prune back the dead tips of the Primocanes after the harvest in the fall by pruning the tips back a couple of nodes below the dead portion of each Primocane.
- Must Have Full Sun
- Well-Drained Rich Soil
- Regular Moisture & Appreciates Mulched Beds
- Prune Second-Year Canes After Harvest
