To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Amethyst Snow Mountain Bluet (Centaurea montana 'Amethyst in Snow') are unusual blossoms if you've never seen them before! Cottony round centers have wispy white, thread-like petals sticking out like spokes and a crown of dark amethyst jutting from the downy centers! The petals have fringe-like ends for lovely texture atop the mounds of dark green foliage!
These low-growing border and edging plants feature silvery down on the foliage for even more unique interest! Pollinators stop by to inspect these curious blooms as often as you will, blooming throughout the spring and summer months, and beyond with deadheading!
Snow Mountain Bluets are in the Batchelor's Button Centaurea family and are just as easy and carefree to grow! Hardy in a wide range of growing zones, they can handle cold and heat with ease. Not minding alkaline soil, these can be easily divided once they get bigger.
Planting and Application:
These gorgeous blooms and their foliage look amazing along the edges of your flower beds and landscaping plots, retaining walls and rock gardens! Sunny garden borders get a finishing touch with these downy leaves and your cutting gardens get a curious bloom and greenery for bouquets.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Centaurea are very easy-care plants and just need some full sun in cooler climates, and some afternoon shade in hotter growing zones. Provide a moderately moist, enriched well-drained location. Deadhead to encourage reblooming and clean the mound in very early spring. Divide every few years when they become too large.
