Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Spicy delight, layer in a fun and eye-catching, hard-working Groundcover Rose for near-effortless color and charm! Fun-loving Playful Happy Trails™ Rose (Rosa 'WEKrahatjacor') features bold red petals and a prominent yellow eye for a double-play of color that gets heads turning!

Each petal on the single bloom comes to a cute little point and will flush completely red as they age. They have a spreading and trailing growth habit that spreads to fill in for a "pop" of color over the bare, sunny ground! Snip a few blooms for bouquets in informal canning jars or spill out of a vase. Try pairing Playful with other members of the Happy Trails™ Rose collection for vivid arrays of low-growing Rose beauty!

Butterflies adore single Rose blooms, too, these recurrent bloomers deliver nectar from late spring through fall! The petals fall cleanly from vigorous, ground-hugging bushes that were hybridized by the world-famous Christian Bedard! Easy-care, disease-resistant Playful Happy Trails™ grows into a bright splash of vibrant color without a lot of extra fuss or muss.

Planting and Application:

Why settle for a boring landscape, when you could make the neighbors stop and stare? Why not add low, flat-topped rocks to use for seating, your guests can enjoy the Tea Rose fragrance of these dynamic rebloomers! Playful Happy Trails™ will add curb appeal to foundation borders, tidy up bare stems of larger plants as facer shrubs, or use along sidewalks and driveways, and bright pops of color as edging along gardens for a clean finished look.

Cover the last few feet of a slope with a wide mass planting to save you from mowing a dangerous slope. Create a solid fill by spacing them three feet apart on center, measuring from the center of one to the center of the next. Red blend flowers bloom continuously for an eye-catching look all season. Growing only knee-high, you'll have fantastically colorful hillsides and slow rainwater and erosion.

Use Happy Trails™ Roses as "Spillers" in oversized garden containers for a professional look. If you can't choose your favorite, why not mix them in a customized display? For a very modern look, use several Groundcover Roses in galvanized steel containers. The look is streamlined, sleek and sophisticated, with exceptionally long-lasting color!

  • Bright Red Blooms With Yellow Centers
  • Low-Growing Mounds of Greenery
  • Great Edging & Container Plants
  • Hardy Groundcover Rose Bush
  • Paths, Garden Edges, Erosion Control & Facer Plants

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Roses bloom best in full sun with at least six hours of sunlight. Please give them well-drained soil, as their root systems don't tolerate standing water. Be sure to add a packet of symbiotic Nature Hills Root Booster formula in the planting hole for life-long benefit. As your Groundcover Roses get established, provide a consistent schedule of water, and don't neglect mature plants during drought. Feed these rebloomers high-quality Rose fertilizer according to the label directions and a top-dressing of arborist mulch.
