Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

It's impossible not to find the Pink Attraction Tall Bearded Iris (Iris germanica 'Pink Attraction') one of the most attractive plants you will ever see. Not only will you fall for this elegant and pretty Iris in early spring, but you will fall again in summer when it reblooms!

The Pink Attraction Tall Bearded Iris erupts with a ravishing range of peach-blushed pink hues that a princess would be proud to wear to the most elegant ball! And with frilled and ruffled edges, this fine specimen will enchant you and other garden visitors, from neighbors to pollinators!

Everybody who sees the Pink Attraction Tall Bearded Iris adores it! This sweetly scented flower appeals to the senses and the imagination. It will fill your yard with its floral fragrance as well as fill your garden with the flutter of pollinators and Hummingbirds.

Growing throughout a wide range of chilly USDA growing zones 3 up to steamy zone 9, the hardy perennial rhizomes grow to 2-3 feet of height when in bloom, and spread to about 1-2 feet wide. Tall Bearded Iris spouts architectural sword-like slender foliage that forms vertical clumps of greenery throughout the entire growing season until frost, sometimes remaining evergreen in mild winters.

Planting and Application:

As a slightly more compact Tall Bearded Iris, the Pink Attraction Tall Bearded Iris is the perfect plant for your mailbox planter, beneath your windows, or along your house foundation. The soft and subtle pastel pinks of this German Iris variety pair well with white, yellows, salmon, peach, apricots, and oranges in a mixed border or Iris mass plantings and drifts.

Either in a container and mixed planter or in the sunny Cottage border and mixed perennial gardens these pastel blossoms equally shine! Plant in groupings, winding rows, or in drifts for easy naturalizing where both the blossoms and vertical foliage add their unique beauty without the maintenance! Any garden becomes a pollinator garden and cut flower border when you include these radiant blossoms in your favorite sunny garden spots!

  • Soft & Pretty Peach-Blushed Pinkish Hues
  • Reblooming German Iris Variety
  • Fragrant - Great For Cut Flower Bouquets & Pollinators
  • Vertical Clumps of Green Sword-Like Foliage
  • Containers, Beds & Borders, Backdrops, Mass Plantings & Specimens

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Pink Attraction performs best with full or partial sun, and is very easy to grow! To help your Tall Bearded Iris grow its best, plant yours in quick-draining soil with low or medium moisture. What type of soil? This Iris adapts well to a wide range of soils, from draining clay, slightly acidic, to salty soil. This Iris is deer and rabbit-resistant.

This low-maintenance Iris likes to be watered well while rooting, but once established the fleshy rhizomes are drought-tolerant. It does best when planted weeks before the ground freezes but thrives as a container specimen if planted in spring.

Information About Bare Root Iris

Bare root Iris are shipped as nice fresh-cut divisions with two to three fans of green tops. Keep in mind each Iris variety can have slightly different-sized roots. Container plants are well-grown in the nursery for several years in their container to establish a strong root system.

When planting Iris, best when planted in early to mid-fall, make sure 1/3rd of the rhizome is exposed to sunlight with the roots buried underneath. Note, that it's best to cover the rhizome with a thin layer of mulch or leaves to protect it during the coldest months but make sure to uncover them in the spring.

  • Robust & Easy to Grow Rhizomes
  • Best In Full Sun & Some Partial Shade
  • Well-Drained Enriched Soil
  • Moderate Moisture Needs
  • Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Prune Back in Late Autumn
  • Deer, Rabbit & Squirrel Resistant Rhizomes

This dazzling and feminine charmer will win you over and add blushing pinks to your garden. Treat yourself to this peachy pretty. Order your Pink Attraction Tall Bearded Iris today at NatureHills.com!
