To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.
- Popular sizes of select trees are 1 foot, 2 feet, 3 feet, etc.

Of course, you'll definitely take delight in their color changing superpower! The blades take on a gorgeous rosy-pink blush for a dynamic display in spring and again as temperatures start cooling down in fall.
Planting and Application:
Hairgrass blades toss to and fro in the breeze.Their tiny seed head panicles rise high above the clump to sparkle in sunlight as the growing season progresses.
- Make the most of your outdoor spaces with the charming texture of Northern LIghts Ornamental Grass. The blades emerge erect, then arch slightly at the ends.
- Compact, but very eye-catching...Northern Lights Grass makes a fantastic addition to container gardens. Use it as a "Thriller" for many years; giving it a good drink of water in fall as you head into winter.
- Weave these into place throughout your mixed garden beds. They'll compliment so many other flowering plants with an unmatched visual softness.
- Mass them to fill a bare spot using a zigzagging planting pattern. Create a drift with one on either end and double or triple up near the center.
- Use a single row of them for a playful sense of motion. Keep the line straight, or use a serpentine series of curves for a creative custom look.

Choose a planting site that receives at least four hours of direct sunlight. The tightest growth habit will develop in full sun; but you'll love the way they brighten up a planting site in partial shade.
