Green Mound doesn't ask for much in terms of care. Once it's established, you can just about forget it's there and it'll do quite well all on its own. Of course, there are a few things you can do to make it the happiest plant possible though.

When picking out its forever home, make sure to take into account how much sun the area gets. For the best results, you'll want to plant this shrub in full sun. That being said, it will also do well in part shade if need be. Another key aspect of keeping the happiest plants is well-drained soil. No one likes to sit around with their feet wet and Green Mound is no exception!

While pruning won't be strictly necessary very often, should you want to give this ground cover a quick trim, simply wait until early spring and grab a pair of sharp shears. Go ahead and cut as much or as little as you'd like, this juniper won't mind.
