Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

The Fireglow Japanese Maple Tree (Acer palmatum 'Fireglow') is an impressive, vigorous, reliable tree that burns fire-red all growing season long! It has an upright tree shape with many slender dark red shoots, lacy red foliage, and palmate toothy leaves that hold their color steadfast!
The translucent foliage is gorgeous on its own, but when you up-light your tree or situate it where the morning sun or setting sun is behind it - the entire tree seems to glow! The red spring, summer, and fall tones hold steady throughout the growing season!
Radiant Fireglow has leaves that are not as deeply divided as other Japanese Maples, but they have a deeper more intense wine-red leaf color that continues well into the heat of summer. In early fall, the foliage becomes purple-red suffused with green.
Fireglow is heat and cold-hardy throughout USDA planting zones 5 to 9, and can grow 8 - 10 feet in height but spreads wider at 12 - 15 feet! Widely adaptable and easy to grow, Japanese Maples are sought-after ornamentals!
Landscape Application:
Fireglow is a radiant lawn and street tree, and is as at home as a gorgeous specimen plant for your front yard as it is mixed among other understory trees in the filtered shade! Wider than tall, it is ideal for those smaller tight spaces, smaller urban city lots, and tucking into an existing landscape where you need a shot of season-long color!
This glowing tree is perfect as a focal point on the corner of your home's foundation, or in groupings around your seating areas to bring on the color and a touch of shade to your outdoor spaces. If you have large planters, these smaller Japanese Maples will grow for years as a pretty potted specimen!
- Intense Wine-Red Leaf Color
- Red Stems & Dark Red Fall Tones
- Wider Than Tall Elegant Form & Lacy Palmate Leaves
- Excellent Container Plant
- Lawn Tree, Understory Specimen & Showy Accent
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Easy to grow and adaptable to most conditions, Japanese Maples need well-drained, humus-rich soil with consistent moisture access. In cooler climates, Japanese Maples thrive well in hot, sunnier conditions, but in hotter growing zones they appreciate afternoon shade with morning sun. It is best to feed these deciduous trees once a year with a slow-release fertilizer and prune them when dormant if needed.
- Partial Shade/Afternoon Shade
- Needs Well-Drained Soil
- Consistent Moderate Moisture Access
- Prune When Dormant If Needed
- Adaptable & Easy To Grow!
For deep, rich color in an easy-to-grow ornamental tree that fits into almost any space, you need to buy the Fireglow Japanese Maple tree! Get yours today at NatureHills.com and we'll deliver the radiant color right to your doorstep!
