Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Ivory Jade gets the gold star when it comes to easy-to-grow plants! Simply plant it either full sun or partial shade, perhaps some afternoon shade especially in the warmer zones.

When picking out the perfect spot to plant this specimen, well-drained soil will make it the happiest, and good air circulation is always a good idea and a great way to make sure you have the healthiest plant possible. Ivory Jade isn't too picky about urban settings either. It'll thrive even in those rather polluted inner-city environments.

Should you like to give your Euonymus a little trim, we recommend doing so in the early spring, before the growing season really begins. Just grab your favorite pair of sharp shears and prune them where needed. If you'd like, consider adding a layer of mulch around your plant starting about one inch away from the base. Not only does this add to the overall aesthetic of your garden, but it'll also help shield the roots from the worst of the heat and conserve water!

Give shrubs in zone 5 a good anti-desiccant and a good drink in the fall to keep them from drying out throughout the winter. You might get away with growing this beauty in zone 4 in a protected location like the east side of your home out of the winter winds.

  • Full Sun & Some Afternoon Shade
  • Hardy Euonymus Does Best In Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate to Low Moisture
  • Easy to Maintain - Prune In Spring
  • Deer Resistant
