These falls are vibrant violet-purple at their centers where they meet their tangerine orange beards. The Social Graces also wears a crown of radiant ruffled standards that match her lovely falls.
Many gardeners choose this because of their early spring and late spring bloomers since the Social Graces is a midseason bloomer. Hardy throughout USDA planting zones 3 to 9, when in bloom this Tall Bearded Iris can reach 38 inches in height, and 12-18 inches wide!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
This remarkable Bearded Iris performs its best in partial sun (afternoon sun) or full sun with medium or low-moisture soil. Like most divas, this regal Iris doesn't like to get her feet wet, so make sure you plant it in well-drained soil. It also roots best when planted in late summer or early fall. For best results, you can create a mound of soil and plant your Social Graces Tall Bearded Iris with the rhizome peeking above the dirt.
Water it well while it's rooting, but after it's established, only water when its soil appears dry. This low-maintenance Iris likes to be watered well while rooting, but once established the fleshy rhizomes are drought-tolerant. Cover the roots with a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch to hold moisture in the soil better and insulate the rhizomes.
Information About Bare Root Iris
Bare root Iris are shipped as nice fresh-cut divisions with two to three fans of green tops. Keep in mind each Iris variety can have slightly different-sized roots. Container plants are well-grown in the nursery for several years in their container to establish a strong root system.
When planting Iris, which are best planted in early to mid-fall, ensure 1/3rd of the rhizome is exposed to sunlight with the roots buried underneath. Note, that it's best to cover the rhizome with a thin layer of mulch or leaves to protect it during the coldest months but make sure to uncover them in the spring.
