Plant Sentry™
Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Fantastic harvest colors just in time for summer and fall, the unique combination of two amazing plants, the Echibeckia™ Summerina™ Orange (Echibeckia x 'ET Rdb-01') combines the best of both worlds!
A unique hybrid combining the fantastic Coneflower and Black-Eyed Susan has created a fantastically smoldering flower with all the perks and hardiness these two plants offer! Long bloom times, long-lasting flowers, great sturdy stems, lush mounds of deep-green foliage and incredible native hardiness, all rolled into one!
Prolific amounts of large flowers burst from the coarse green foliage and keep coming back until fall frost. With a dark chocolate-brown cone highlighting the long, grooved petals. Each bloom sports a dark russet-brown ring that can be ruddy in color. The outer halves of the petals transition into an orange or rust-orange color.
A perfect bi-color palette for the summer and fall season that blends in with the fall foliage, pumpkins and bonfires of the season!
Forming dense, upright clumps, these long-lasting flowers and sturdy stems are fantastic for your bouquets and floral arrangements, as well as provide the perfect landing pads for hungry bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.
How to Use Echibeckia™ Summerina™ Orange In The Landscape
Fantastic additions to extend your bloom time throughout the Perennial and Cottage gardens, Summerina™ starts when other summer flowers call it quits. Combine with Asters and Fall blooming Mums for a show worthy of the autumn season!
Fantastic additions to Cutting and Pollinator gardens, these dramatic blooms provide plenty of flowers for your vases and your pollinators! Compact and dense-growing, Summerina™ even fit fantastically in larger planters and porch pots!
For an incredible show, plant with other Coneflower and Black-Eyed Susans, or Sunflowers and Goldenrod for a feast for your butterflies, bees, and even some birds seeking out fall seeds, as well as the perfect mixture to fill your autumn bouquets!
Update the garden color palette of native prairie and naturalized plantings. Thriving in sun, heat and drier conditions, Summerina™ Orange needs little care to keep it looking fantastic!
#ProPlantTips For Care
Fantastic full sun herbaceous perennials, these upright mounds shine in as much sun as you can provide for them. Favoring the morning sun helps dry their leaves and prevents powdery mildew.
Once established, these are low-water usage plants, so include these sun lovers into your Xeric and Fire-scaping, prairie plantings and those difficult, out-of-the-way locations that won't receive much water or attention.
Hardy in USDA growing zones 5 through 10, these have the native hardiness that both their lineages boast and thrive in an incredibly wide range of conditions. Plant in moderately fertile, very well-drained soil and watch these go!
Deadhead to keep the blooms returning until frost, then prune back the entire plant to the ground in late autumn. Otherwise, Echibeckia needs little care and attention! Naturally compact plants and drought-tolerant, you'll enjoy all the benefits of perennial Echinacea and Rudbeckia, with the hardiness and low maintenance of both!
Combining the native hardiness, prolific bloom, plus a fantastic combination of colors for autumn, these bird and pollinator-friendly blooms light up the landscape! Break out the cocoa and sweaters, then order your own Echibeckia™ Summerina™ Orange from the expert growers at NatureHills.com!
