Frilly and feathered edges, the Majestic Royal Tulip Blend (Tulipa 'Purple Crystal', Tulipa 'Hot Pants') are classically shaped Tulips with upright vase-shaped clumps of soft blue-green leaves on strong stems.

This combo includes the fringed edges of Purple Crystal Tulip and the white petals with purplish-pink edges of Hot Pants Tulip! Bringing a unique blend to your sunny spring gardens!

Sweetly scented and irresistible to pollinators, the Majestic Royal Tulip blend grows into vivid groupings 18-20 inches tall throughout the weeks of spring. Cold-hardy and easy to grow, fall-planted Tulips are the harbingers of spring and perfect for the brown thumb and busy gardener!

Planting and Application:

Your Cottage garden, mixed perennial borders, and spring Rock gardens all become showy spring spectacles as the mix of purple and white mix with other spring ephemerals like Muscari, Daffodils, and Hyacinth! Plant around your mailbox or a garden bench to highlight your garden's features.

Plant groupings and long winding borders, in a ring around your mailbox, or en masse giving you plenty to feed your butterflies with early-spring nectar, and you with armloads of cut flowers for gorgeous bouquets!

Tulips are space-saving and ideal for use throughout large or small gardens, and even in container gardens and mixed planters on your porch for a seasonal spring planter on either side of your front door or around your back patio where you can enjoy their sweet scent nearby.

  • Purple Frilly Purple Crystal & Violet-Pink Hot Pants Tulip
  • Upright Clumps of Strappy Blue-Green Foliage
  • Sweetly Scented Cut Flower Bouquets
  • Bees, Butterflies & Container Gardens
  • Great For Borders, Rows, Groupings & En Masse Plantings

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Double Peony Tulips do their very best in a well-drained location in full to partial sun. Tulips do not like continuously wet soil so water newly planted bulbs very well but you shouldn't have to water again unless it gets very dry that fall, or during summers when you have extensive heat and drought. Top-dress with a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch to hold in soil moisture more consistently and to insulate the perennial bulbs.

Deadhead the flower heads once they fade but let the foliage remain to make food for the bulbs. Trim away the leaves and remove them from the area once they turn yellow. Apply an early spring application of bulb food.

Tips on Planting Tulip Bulbs

Plant your Tulip Bulbs in the fall about 6 to 8 weeks before a hard freeze (or anytime in the autumn when the ground is still workable.). Place the bulbs in a hole with the pointy end upward and at least 8 inches deep (about 3x the length of the bulb), spaced about 4-6 inches apart.

  • Full Sun/Part Shade Outdoors & Indirect Sun Indoors
  • Needs Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate to Low Moisture Once Established
  • Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Prune After Foliage Yellows
  • Fall-Planted Perennial Spring Flowering Bulbs
