- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age

Growing Zones 4-9
Gorgeous silver plumes glow in the setting sun! The late-season plumes are large and have a stunning tawny hue that verges on silver! Just a single specimen will make a huge statement in your landscape all summer and all the way through the fall and winter.
The upright fountains have gracefully arching leaves that create a graceful yet powerful impact Plant them where you can see them from a window, deck or patio as the sun rises or sets behind them. They are breathtakingly gorgeous when the sun shines through them.
Just a single plant can reach a mature height of 6-8 feet tall in bloom and spread 4-5 feet wide! Cold tolerant and heat resistant in USDA growing zones 4-9, these are quick to get growing once temperatures warm up in the spring. #ProPlantTips for Care:
Miscanthus needs full sun to keep stems from flopping or falling flat, so provide a minimum of 6 hours full sun per day in a well-drained location. Their fast growth rate needs ample moisture to support them and tolerates almost any type of soil. Leave up for winter interest, most gardeners tie their grasses into bundles and by early spring, before you see new growth, cut these bundles off a few inches above the ground and gently rake through the stubble to clean out debris and leaves that may clog the mound.
- Full Sun
- Loves Average to Moist Soil
- Tolerates Any Well-Drained Site
- Prune Warm-Season Grasses in Late Winter or Early Spring
