Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Let's Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Let's Dance ¡Arriba!® Hydrangea PP#33206 (Hydrangea x 'SMNHSC') is an exciting new shrub with naturally compact bunches of foliage that are covered in round clusters of incredible color! Plus, enjoy a rebloom as this speedily growing hybrid Hydrangea blooms on new wood and old wood each year!
The big, round, mophead blooms smother the vibrant green foliage that still has the classic Hydrangea quilted look and neatly toothed edges. Reaching full size in just a few growing seasons, you'll enjoy a low-maintenance and reliable little shrub for any-sized yard or container garden!
¡Arriba!® Hydrangea has phenomenal color all growing season, fading to mauve in the fall, then tan for winter interest or floral design décor. The color is pH-dependent, pink in neutral soils, and blue to purple in acidic soils, but regardless of your soil type, you'll enjoy the incredible color!
Planting and Application:
Growing into a tidy and compact rounded bush that's only 2-3 feet around, these create lovely low hedges and mid-garden planting that won't overcrowd their beds. Accent Butterfly gardens and anchor Perennial borders with reliable color, or perk up a Cottage garden with a backdrop of these long-blooming shrubs! Traditionally, Hydrangea are amazing foundation plants and facer shrubs when planted in a row in front of larger shrubs and evergreens to hide their bare legs.
¡Arriba!® also works well in large pots and mixed planters! So include some in your porch, patio, or balcony container garden for a splash of color that's easy-care! Naturals for woodland plantings where they won't mind the light shade of larger trees, nor become fodder for deer (unless they're really desperate).
- Pink, Purple or Blue Round Flower Clusters
- Compact Round Mounds of Green Leaves
- Blooms on New & Old Wood
- Containers & Planters
- Attracts Pollinators
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Hydrangeas do best in full sun for the most blooms and strongest stems; however, in the hotter of these shrubs' growing zones 4 through 9, ¡Arriba!® will appreciate afternoon shade. Add extra mulch to keep the roots cool in summer and insulated in the winter. Easy-care and low maintenance, just maintain moderate to consistent moisture at the roots.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Adaptable to Most Well-Drained Soil Types
- Fast-Growing
- Salt Resistant
