Description
The new and improved Prairie Splendor™ Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Prairie Splendor') is a nice uniform version of the native perennial, with shorter growth and a 2-week earlier bloom time compared to other Coneflowers! The long petals and spikey centers add unique form and texture to the sun garden! No more leggy perennials, Prairie Splendor™ stays neat and tidy!
You'll love watching butterflies and wonderful goldfinch birds flit from flower to flower, and so will your friends and family. Hummingbirds and other beneficial pollinators will also visit your garden adding to the spectacular show! Feel free to cut the blooms and take them inside for flower arrangements, because Prairie Splendor™ will simply make more!
The coarse green foliage looks great until fall and the spikey raised seedheads look great in dried arrangements, as winter interest, and songbirds adore the seeds for a fall or winter treat! Prairie Splendor™ Coneflowers are rugged, low-maintenance native perennial cultivars that come back year after year and produce long-lasting blooms all summer long!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Coneflower needs plenty of sunshine - at least 6 hours of full sun a day. Don't plant this perennial in low-lying areas that collect water because they need well-drained soil. And although they will be relatively drought tolerant, you'll get more blooms with a regular schedule of medium water. In early spring, if you've left your perennial plantings to stand over the winter, just snip the stalks back down to an inch above ground level.
- Full Sun Perennials
- Moderate to Low Moisture Once Established
- Any Fast-Draining Soil
- Deadhead for More Blooms & Prune Back in Early Spring
- Easy to Grow & Low-Maintenance
