Power-color combo! The SunSparkler® series is introducing a brilliantly, color-saturated Sedum that will amplify your landscape exponentially! The purple-tinged deep-green foliage of Dream Dazzler Stonecrop (Sedum 'Dream Dazzler') has a vivid margin in hot-pink that creates an amazing variegated effect!
The small oval leaves are waxy and lightly serrated, lending a unique texture to go along with that show-stopping color combination. This amazing ground cover fills your landscape with color!
Mature leaves are an incredible combo of pink, white, and purple with vivid pink flowers! The multi-color foliage forms dense spreading mounds of glossy foliage and bright new growth but grows to only 8 inches high and up to 18 inches wide!
The brilliant pink clusters of flowers are born in showy flower heads, lasting all summer until fall frost. Your local pollinators won't be able to resist these blooms! In fall, the seed heads dry on the plant. You can either prune these off for a clean winter appearance or leave them for both winter interest or food for songbirds!
Cold-hardy and heat and humidity-tolerant throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 9, Stonecrop does not have many issues and are perfect for the beginner gardener!
Planting and Application:
Dream Dazzler is an intense and unique addition to your border and perennial gardens! Their vivid coloration and bold blooms add depth and drama to the landscape all growing season long! Any sunny bed and Cottage garden will be enchanted with this vibrant foliage. Pollinator gardens and Rock Gardens both benefit from these brilliant plants!
Asian-inspired and Zen gardens welcome this showy Sedum! Seating areas, birdbaths, outdoor sculptures, and urns become the main feature with a skirting of these around their base! Vibrant spillers and fillers in planters and containers, Creeping Stonecrop happily ramble around your sun-baked patios and porches.
Well-known for their drought tolerance which makes them amazing for Xeriscaping, while their heat tolerance makes them perfect for Firescaping. Also very salt-tolerant, you can plant these in that 'hell strip' along the road. Gardeners in coastal areas can enjoy Stonecrop near ocean spray without worry.
Mass plantings in hot sunny locations will be amplified enormously because of this incredible color combo! Great for erosion control, Sedum creeps and spreads readily without lots of care, so fill that hard-to-mow slope with bright color!
Each mound will grow together to form a uniform carpet of vivid color, blocking weeds, and creating a low-maintenance groundcover. Try a row in front of your foundation shrubs or along a sunny walkway. These naturally spill and tumble over rock walls and retaining walls beautifully.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
SunSparkler® Dream Dazzler Sedum loves the full sun and tolerates humidity, heat and sun all summer without fail. Handling some part sun in hotter climates. Stonecrop has very low moisture needs and is very cold-hardy in growing zones 4 and up. Thriving in any kind of well-drained soil, Sedum tolerates poor or rocky soils with no problem. In fact, Stonecrop grown in organically rich soil are actually lanky and weak-stemmed. Provide a 3-4 inch thick layer of arborist mulch for best results.
Stonecrop benefits from division every few years and the removal of dead debris each early spring. But other than that, these tough perennials require no other work! These are deer and rabbit-resistant, plus they are pest and disease-free.
