Persian Buttercup Ranunculus, you can expect this plant to produce up to twelve blooms from the smallest tubers and up to thirty with bigger tubers. Ranunculus prefer full sun or partial shade, and well-drained soil and can be used in a multitude of places in the garden. When it comes to caring for this exquisite plant, all you need to do is soak your corms for a few hours, then plant your Ranunculus in the spring with their tendrils down and water them in well. Plant with the 'fingers' of the corms facing downward and several inches under the surface. Add bulb fertilizer to each hole for best results. These spring blooms hide once summer heat kicks in, so deadhead after the flowers fade. Later, trim the leaves down when they turn yellow.
