That flower was probably the Everlasting™ Jade Bigleaf Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Hortmaja')!

Well, now you can have it! Nature Hills is proud to offer this gorgeous Bigleaf Hydrangea to you. You'll love the large cream colored blossoms accented by hints of green, both in your garden and your floral bouquets!

Everlasting™ Jade was bred in the Netherlands for the cut flower trade. That means super-strong straight stems and tough florets that last for days in the vase. This little beauty is a flower powerhouse that will fit into any garden, in sun or shade. The flowers start out apple green, fading to antique white and then the cool weather of autumn turns them celery green with red tips. Everlasting Jade will keep you mesmerized all season!

The brilliant white and green blooms and quilted green leaves are a dramatic combination to add elegance, lush backdrops, and frills to your landscape in a formal plantings. #ProPlantTips for Care:

For the most blooms and strongest growth, plant Hydrangeas in partial shade to part sun, favoring morning sun and afternoon shade. This is especially important in the hottest of the USDA growing zones 5-9. Plant Hydrangea with moderate, and consistent moisture access and in enriched organic well-drained soil.

Bigleaf Hydrangea bloom on last year's wood, so it's best to prune if needed, and only in the early spring to remove stems that died back in the winter. You can also use renewal pruning to remove the older stems is done to keep the plants vigorous and healthy. This is because 1-3 year old branches are the best for flowering and older stems should be cut out to the ground in early spring when removing the old blooms and damaged branch tips.

  • Partial Shade/Afternoon Shade
  • Moderately Moist Enriched Soil
  • Highly Adaptable
  • Prune Bigleaf Hydrangea Early Spring
  • Very Hardy & Easy to Grow
These beauties are in limited supply since they are so sought after for the florist trade, so don't wait. Buy Everlasting™ Jade Hydrangea at Nature Hills today!
