Goldcot busts out in the spring with white flowers blushed with pink that are followed by medium-sized golden fruit in early August. The fruit is delicious, sweet and juicy, and is great to eat fresh, make into preserves, or dry for use all winter long. Pretty trees, growing and thriving, late Spring 2021

Because of our sometimes late frosts in the spring, I bought the Moorpark and Goldcot Apricots for our area in southern Missouri. Blooming a little later might save the blooms in event of a late frost. The trees arrived in about 2 weeks. I was a little upset because they shipped both container trees in one rather small box (box size was evidently for one tree shipping), the Goldcot was upside-down in the box with a bag around the container, and the shipping movement had separated the dirt from the root ball. It was badly wilted and several limbs broken and bent. I planted both trees the next day and I have been watering them a few times a week. They have both adapted and even have some new growth. They are well branched and uniform, pretty to look at. I just ordered a Belle of Georgia peach tree for August planting. If you order 2 trees you might ask them to ship with 2 boxes or just order one at a time to save the tree damage from hanging upside down!
