To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

As legends go, this Crocus comes back to life every spring, roaming gardens, haunting gardeners with its ghostlike beauty. Well, that might not be entirely accurate…The Blue Pearl Crocus (Crocus 'Blue Pearl') does have an ethereal glow!
It also does return to life spring after spring. As for haunting, though, most gardeners celebrate the emergence of these pearlescent beauties rather than shy away from their presence. The satin-like quality of these petals makes this petite pearl of a flower seem to glow! This Blue Pearl has a pearl of its own hidden tucked into its center. As the Blue Pearl Crocus's petals slowly open, its golden throat becomes visible.
The Blue Pearl Crocus is by far one of the most attractive varieties of Crocus. Its goblet-shaped bloom glows against its green foliage. Its outer petals have deckled blue centers that transition to a pale blue around the edges.

Crocus corms thrive in full sun to partial shade. Plant in more sun in a protected location for earlier blooms, and in partly shaded exposed areas for later blooms. Provide moderate moisture and some bulb fertilizer when planting in the fall. When forcing bulbs indoors, or so they will bloom in the spring, these fall-planted bulbs need at least 6-8 weeks of Chill Hours. This chill time stimulates them to bloom, so if you are in a warm winter climate or growing them for winter color, give them a cool location to rest before planting. Trim the foliage back after it yellows in the late summer or fall after frost.
