#ProPlantTips for Care:
The ideal location for these full-sun rhizomatic plants is in moderately moist to almost wet enriched soil, which should always well-drained. It is also a good idea to ensure that Canna has a 3-4 inch layer of arborist mulch over the surface. Provide regular fertilizer and deadhead when blooming is done. Canna rhizomes are not frost-hardy and do need to be dug in the fall before they freeze. Keep them in a cool, frost-free area in a bag in a garage or shed.
